Franco-American prize for culture

This prize aims to develop exchanges between France and the USA in Arts and Crafts training programs.
In the context of an exchange, two young professionals, one French and the other American, cross the Atlantic to perfect their training. The young American will come and work in one of our best studios on an internship and the young French person will spend 3
months in the USA discovering different practices. This is an exceptional cultural and professional experience and the opportunity to
construct relations which will be extremely valuable for their future career.
The theme chosen for 2007 was gilding; the Prize was baptised "Prix Watin".
The French prize-winner for 2007 was
Damien Lepage. He had just completed his gilding training at "La Bonne graine" and at the Maury workshop. He left for Washington in September for a position with a well-known gilder.
